The sixth rope jumping competition of Starlite was held on November 26, 2021 on the south of the warehouse of fine chemical logistics. A total of six teams participated: four teams from the Fine Chemical Dept.; one team from High Performance Product Dept.; one team from Common Dept.
The competition process was very intense and exciting. The “Super Invincible” team of the High Performance won the first place overwhelmingly with a total of 44 continuous jumps, followed by the “Create Brilliance Again” team of the Fine Chemical with the result of 32 jumps. What made the competition more wonderful was that the third place had to be decided by an extra PK (player killing) between the “Climb the Peak” team of the Fine Chemical and the “Strive for Progress” team of the common department, both of which attained 30 jumps within the normal competition time. The competition between the two teams was also a wonderful highlight of this competition. First, the gestures of “stone, scissors and cloth” was played to determine which team to jump first. As a result, the “C limb the Peak” team jumped first. Because they consumed too much physical energy in the previous competition, the “Climb the Peak” team lost, and the “Strive for Progress” team won the third place that was not easily achieved.
Through this rope-jumping activity, the collaborative and cooperative spirit between colleagues and departments are fully embodied and also the striving and selfless fighting spirit of all the participating employees is expressed clearly. It is expected that everybody can achieve a greater success in the future both in their work and competition.

On Tuesday, November 02, 2021, the 2021 Release Meeting of Small Group Improvement Event was held. There was a total of 15 groups participated in this year’s Small Group Improvement Event at the beginning of this year. After efforts made by various groups and release and selection of candidates at the business department level, six groups were recommended to attend this company-level release meeting.
Following the intensive and wonderful release of various groups and the final assessment by the judge panel, it was determined that: the first prize goes to the Purchase Section, the second prize goes to Section 2 of the Fine Chemical Production and the third prize goes to Production Section 2 of High-performance Product Department. Finally, the deputy general manager made his comments on the release of this small group improvement event: the event should raise questions about the shortcomings in our daily business and generate new improvement ideas, and then propose improvement measures and continue to promote itself. It is expected that the small group improvement event could better integrate the strengths of departments in the current complex environment that has never seen in a century and practically improve the problems within a department, thereby providing a supporting force to the enterprise’ development.

The eighteenth donation ceremony dubbed “Respect the Nature, Love People, Philanthropic Starlite” was held at the Meixinjing Community of Zhoushi Town on the afternoon of October 22, 2021. The fund donated this time will be used for building a “Home of Women and Children”, contributing to the healthy growth of children and building of a harmonious parent-child relationship.

From May 20 to 22, 2021, Starlite attended the Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS), which is the most influent one of its kind in the Western Region of China. With the promotion of the Great Openness in the Region and the establishment of the New Silk Road Economic Belt, more and more attention from the industrial sector is gradually focusing on the region where there is a great development potential. There were approximately 612 enterprise exhibitors and more than 18,000 visitors.
Exhibited at the Fair were the “Tribology” - study of friction - as our core technology, the S-bear material with new functionality, and its product series such as precision gears, sealing plates for air conditioner compressors, etc. Through the exchange and communication with the automotive sector in the southwestern Chengdu-Chongqing region, we learned that although there are many ordinary injection molding manufacturers in the region, there are fewer mid-to-high-end precision injection molding ones, particularly only scarce factories for precision gears and high-end material molding.
During the exhibition, we received a total of 29 enterprises, of which seven showed their intention, mainly for the friction and high temperature resistance products used in motor vehicles. And subsequently we can have further communication with them and begin the product feasibility study. There are also some other enterprises to be kept in touch, thereby realizing timely and accurate communication when they need our products.
Through this exhibition, Starlite will seize the opportunity of industrial transfer and upgrading, developing a mature and stable customer base in the southwest Chengdu-Chongqing region and making contributions to new businesses of the Company and the development and sales of its new products.

“Respect the Nature, Love People and Repay the Society” is the long-term operation philosophy of Starlite. As the COVID-19 pandemic is getting under control in the city and in China as a whole, the Company again organized its employees to participate in the blood donation activity. On April 23, 2021, the Company launched its ninth blood donation activity, to which employees respond actively. A total of 71 employees attended this donation under the active participation of everybody, among which, 40 persons were qualified, with the total blood donated up to 11200 ml.
Blood donation does not only help other people but also saves blood for themselves and their family members. In addition, it can also reduce the blood viscosity and the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. Recently, [Volunteer Kunshan] launched a points program for unpaid blood donors: a blood donation of 200ml plus the new volunteer service time of 25 hours in a year could be counted as 150 volunteer service points; a blood donation of 300ml plus the new volunteer service time of 25 hours in a year could be counted as 300 volunteer service points; a blood donation of 400ml plus the new volunteer service time of 25 hours in a year could be counted as 500 volunteer service points.
The fact that the Company management attaches importance to this donation and our employees actively participate gets the praises highly from the staff of Kunshan Blood Station. The 2021 congratulatory ceremony was held on February 17. This year has a congratulatory ceremony slightly different from that of previous years. Our head office in Japan and Starlite Thailand participated in this new year's congratulatory ceremony, which is also a manifestation of One STARLITE. From November 3 to 6, 2020, the 23rd “FBC Shanghai 2020 Shanghai International Intelligent Processing and Industrial Parts Exhibition”, sponsored by Gongchangwang Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (FNA), was successfully held at Shanghai New International Expo Center, with approximately 153 enterprises attended and more than 27,000 people visited.
This is the second time that FBC was held concurrently with the “Asian International Power Transmission and Control Technology Exhibition (PTC ASIA2020)” that is influential in the industries such as machinery, electric drive, hydraulic transmission, etc. Plus the 2020 Asia Logistics Exhibition, 2020 Shanghai International Compressor Show and other concurrent exhibitions, FBC exhibitors, together with more than 2,000 companies that are mainly Chinese parts and components makers, participated in the exhibitions, attracting professional visitors from many industries.
In this Shanghai FBC, we focused on display of gear products, door lock products, S-BEAR material-related products, and reducer products. Many enterprises showed their interests in these products. This exhibition attracted more people than any other ones held to date this year.
We received approximately 55 enterprises at this exhibition, of which 15 had the intention of purchasing our products. Customers were mainly those in automobile and motor sectors, and products such as gears and insert molding ones were more inquired. Via this exhibition, we could accumulate some resources for new customer development.
